Where ceiling baffles work best

Baffles hang vertically below the ceiling, so both faces absorb sound. That makes them the right answer for spaces with no ceiling to treat: exposed slabs and services, double-height areas and industrial-style interiors where a flat acoustic ceiling would hide the look you want.

In the UAE they are common in cafés and restaurants with open ceilings, where hard surfaces and a full room quickly get loud (see our café interiors work), and in gyms, school halls, atriums, open offices and showrooms. Set out in rows, grids or patterns, they also become a design feature, coloured to match a brand or to disappear against the soffit.

How we supply and install them

Baffles can be made from several materials. One of the most practical is PET felt, which is lightweight, comes in many colours, and can be cut into shapes, waves and logos on our own CNC in Jebel Ali. On site, each baffle hangs from fixings in the slab on adjustable cables, so the line and height can be set exactly even where the slab is uneven.

Layout matters as much as the product. Spacing, height and direction are planned around lights, sprinklers, AC outlets and smoke detectors so nothing is blocked, and we agree a drawing with you before anything is fixed. Our own team installs across all seven emirates; for Saudi Arabia and the other GCC countries we supply baffles ready to hang, without installation.
