Where PET panels work best

PET panels are made from compressed polyester fibre, so they are soft to the touch, light to handle and clean to cut. They are absorbers: they reduce echo and make speech clearer inside a room, rather than stopping sound from passing through a wall.

How we cut, supply and install them

We cut and V-groove PET panels on our own CNC in Jebel Ali, to a tolerance of ±0.1 mm. Send a .DXF, .DWG, .AI or .PDF file and we cut grooves, shapes, patterns, lettering and logos to it; our CNC cutting page shows what the machine can do.

On site, panels are usually bonded directly to the wall or ceiling with a suitable adhesive, or mounted on a frame or with mechanical fixings where they may need to come off later. Leaving an air gap behind a panel can improve its absorption at lower frequencies, so the fixing method is chosen with the room’s use in mind.
