Where PVC profile track works best

PVC profile track is the hidden frame behind a stretch fabric wall. It is fixed to the wall or ceiling around the edge of the area, the space inside is filled with an absorber, and the fabric is pushed into the jaws of the track so it sits tight and flat with no visible screws.

It is used wherever a large, seamless, soft surface is wanted: boardrooms and executive offices, hotel lobbies, ballrooms and corridors, restaurants, and full-wall treatments in home cinemas and studios. Because the track follows the outline you set, it can run around doors, windows, sockets and switches, and it can divide a wall into panels of different colours.

How we supply and install it

The track is cut to length and fixed to the wall in straight runs with neat corners. The cavity is filled with fiberglass panels or another absorber chosen for the room, then the acoustic fabric is tucked in and tensioned, working out from the centre so the weave stays straight. The fabric can usually be taken out and re-stretched later if it is damaged or you want a new colour.

A flat, sound surface behind matters: blockwork, drywall or plywood all work if they are level. Our own team installs stretch fabric systems across all seven emirates. For Saudi Arabia and the other GCC countries, and for contractors with their own installers, we supply the track, infill and fabric only.

How it works

Soaks up echo instead of bouncing it back

Sound that hits a hard wall reflects straight back into the room. A porous acoustic surface traps most of that energy in its fibres, so only a weak reflection returns and speech stays clear.
